Event: Yoga for Compassion Fatigue

San Antonio Yoga Center and the Helotes Humane Society are pairing up to continue Helotes Humane Society’s efforts of identifying and addressing compassion fatigue amongst its fellow animal rescuers. Yoga is a process of balancing all aspects of life with “mindful action”. This class will teach its particpants gentle movement and breathing along with basic yoga poses while focusing on stress management. You will not want to miss out on the expert teachings that this yoga studio has to offer. This can be just one tool that you can add to your toolbox in order to combat the effects of compassion fatigue in order to carry out your lifesaving work! Class will start promptly at 5:30 pm Please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill out new student paperwork. The studio will have yoga mats for you to use but if you have one of your own, feel free to bring it. Class size is limited, so additional classes may be scheduled if the sign up exceeds the 25 person limit.
