This program is designed specifically for our long-term dog residents—dogs who, through no fault of their own, have spent an extended period at the shelter waiting for their forever homes. Often, adoption fees can be a barrier for potential adopters, especially when combined with the other costs associated with welcoming a new pet into the family.

The Home Stretch Heroes offers a unique way for compassionate businesses and individuals like you to make a meaningful impact. By sponsoring the adoption fee for one of these long-term residents, you will help remove a key obstacle to their adoption, increasing their chances of finding a loving home. Adoption fees are $250. In return, as a Home Stretch Hero you will receive recognition on our website, social media, and at the shelter itself as a valued supporter of this vital program.
