Ericka was born and raised in Wisconsin until January 2022 when she moved to Texas. For the last 10 years, she’s been working with animals of all shapes and sizes! Ericka started her animal care journey in Wisconsin, working in a doggy daycare and boarding facility. She moved on to working in rescue and it was there that she was exposed to working with wildlife, large animals, small animals, cats, dogs, exotics, etc. Ericka is a very passionate animal welfare advocate! Since moving to Texas, she spent time managing a doggy daycare. Ericka was a dog trainer with them as well! Ericka had 2 Great Danes named Kaya and Ruger. Ericka is very excited to get back into rescue and fostering!
